Northern District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 1, 2024, at approximately 6:22 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 500 block of Winston Avenue, to investigate a reported shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers located a 34-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to area hospitals and is listed in stable condition.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Northern District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2455.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 1, 2024, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 600 block of West Baltimore Street for a hospital walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. 

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers spoke with the 33-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the lower body. The victim is listed in stable condition. 

The victim is unable to provide the location of the shooting. The incident location is unknown at this time.

Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On Sept. 1, 2024, at around 12 a.m., officers responded to the 800 block of Bonaparte Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive 38-year-old male suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.

Medics pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. The Medical Examiner's Office responded and took possession of the victim's body and will conduct an autopsy. 

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
