Fatal Car Accident

On September 11, 2023, at approximately 9:21 p.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of Sinclair Lane for a serious accident.

Upon arrival, officers and medics rendered aid to an unidentified victim who was struck by a vehicle while running across the street. Medics transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased despite life-saving measures. The driver of the striking vehicle stayed on the scene. 

CRASH Team investigators responded and took control of the scene.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On September 11, 2001, at approximately 7:15 p.m., officers were patrolling near Broadway Corridor when they heard discharging. Shortly after, they received a call for a shooting for the 200 block of South Broadway.

Upon canvassing the immediate area, officers located a 19-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound in the 200 block of South Broadway. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is currently being treated for his injury.

Central District detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
