Western District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 11, 2024, at around 10:28 p.m., officers responded to the 1300 block of North Calhoun Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 41-year-old male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is receiving treatment for his injuries.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On September 11, 2024, at approximately 1:35 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 54-year-old male suffering from a graze wound to the head.

Officers learned the victim was involved in a physical altercation while in the 2100 block of Wilkens Avenue when he was shot.
