Northern District Homicide Investigation

On September 21, 2024, at approximately 3:31 p.m., Northern District officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of York Road for a call of a reported shooting. 

Once there, officers located an unidentified male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment and was pronounced deceased on September 22, 2024.

On September 22, 2024, at approximately 12:23 p.m., a 42-year-old male walked into a local hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. In speaking with detectives, the victim advised he was shot on September 21, 2024 near the 4600 block of York Road.

Homicide detectives have assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives, at 410-396-2100.

Southern District Homicide Investigation

On September 21, 2024, at approximately 1:47 a.m., officers were on foot patrol when they heard discharging coming from the 1100 block of Marshall Street.

Officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Northern District Homicide Investigation

On September 21, 2024,  at approximately 12:57 a.m., Northern District officers responded to the 5100 block of Park Heights Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Once at the location, officers observed a 37 year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel. A short time later, two additional shooting victims, a 31-year-old male and an unidentified male, arrived at local hospitals seeking treatment. Despite life-saving measures, the unidentified male was pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
