Southern District Shooting Investigation 

On Sept. 27, 2024, at around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Bethune Road to investigate a call for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 41-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported him to an area hospital where he was being treated for his injury. The victim is currently listed in stable condition. 

Southern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northeast District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 27, 2024, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Northern District patrol officers responded to the 5700 block of Loch Raven Boulevard for a reported hospital walk-in shooting.

Upon arrival at the hospital, officers located a 20-year-old female victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim is listed in stable condition. 

The victim has been uncooperative, and at this time, the incident location is unknown.

Eastern District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 27, 2024, at approximately 4:01 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the rear of the 1600 block of Homestead Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 41-year-old male victim who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the bicep. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On Sept. 27, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Northern District patrol officers were patrolling the 2500 block of Greenmount Avenue when they observed an unidentified male lying on the ground.

Officers did a condition check and observed that the 49-year-old male victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. The victim is listed in critical but stable condition.
