Western District Shooting Investigation 

On Aug. 10, 2024, at approximately 9:54 p.m. Western District patrol officers responded to the 1300 block of North Carey Street in reference to a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On Aug. 10, 2024, at approximately 9:19 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 500 block of North Glover Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers learned that a 41-year-old male and a 14-year-old male were both shot at that location. 

Medics responded to the scene and transported the victims to area hospitals where the 14-year-old male is currently listed in critical condition. The 41-year-old male's injuries are considered non-life-threatening.

Western District Homicide Investigation

On Aug. 10, 2024, at approximately 5:13 p.m.,  Western District patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of Tiffany Court, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located an unidentified adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
