Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On Aug. 22, 2024, at approximately 12:21 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of East North Avenue, for a report of a Shot Spotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 46-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
