Western District Shooting Investigation

On February 7, 2024, at approximately 11:01 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to North Paca at West Fayette Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 27-year-old female and a 44-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. 

Both victims were taken to area hospitals for treatment.

Investigators learned that the victims were shot while in the 1200 block of Druid Hill Avenue, where a crime scene was located.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On Feb. 7, 2024, at approximately 9:48 p.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of Bel Air Road to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male and a 40-year-old male suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, both victims were pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
