Eastern District Homicide Investigation 

On January 15, 2024, at approximately 9:19 p.m., Eastern District Officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Mayfield Avenue to investigate a shot-spotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers located a 39-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body and head. The victim was pronounced deceased by medics on the scene.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On January 15, 2024, at approximately 1:15 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 16-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.

At this time the location of the shooting has not been determined.
