Northwest District Shooting Investigation

On Jan. 4, 2024, at approximately 9:19 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of West North Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male in the 3200 block of West North Avenue, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he will be treated for his injuries.

A short time later, Central District officers received a call for walk-in shooting victim at an area hospital. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 26-year-old male suffering from numerous gunshot wounds.

Detectives discovered a crime scene in the 3100 block of West North Avenue and that both victims are from this crime scene.

Northwest District Shooting detectives arrived on the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call detectives at 410-396-2466.

Central District Homicide Investigation

On Jan. 4, 2024, at approximately 12:09 a.m., while on routine patrol, a Central District officer was advised by a citizen of a shooting victim in the unit block of North Eutaw Street.

Once there, officers located an unidentified male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
