Northeast District Homicide Investigation
On July 10, 2024, at around 1:18 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Frankford Avenue to investigate a call for a cutting.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from numerous life-threatening stab wounds in the 5400 block of Belair Road. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the stabbing had occurred on an MTA bus in the 4200 block of Frankford Avenue due to a verbal altercation.
Officers were able to apprehend an unidentified male suspect in this incident.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southern District Shooting Investigation
On July 10, 2024, at approximately 9:58 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Sargeant Street for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 26-year-old male, inside of a home, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

Western District Homicide Investigation
On July 10, 2024, at approximately 1:18 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of Lauretta Avenue for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
