Southwest District Shooting Investigation

On July 24, 2024, at around 9:45 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of West Fayette Street to investigate multiple calls for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old male and a 38-year-old female suffering from numerous gunshot wounds. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital where they are being treated for their injuries. 

Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Southeast District Shooting Investigation

On July 24, 2024, at approximately 1:16 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to a home in the 600 block of North Potomac Street for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
