Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On July 25, 2024, at around 9:07 p.m., officers responded to the 1900 block of Greenmount Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers observed an unresponsive 42-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics arrived and pronounced the victim deceased on the scene. 

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
