Western District Shooting Investigation

On July 9, 2024, at approximately 1:20 p.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 900 block of North Dukeland Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers immediately began CPR on an adult male victim, who was unresponsive, and suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound.   

Medics arrived on the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital where his condition is unknown.

Northwest District Homicide Investigation

On July 9, 2024, at approximately 2:47 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Once there, officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Despite doctors' efforts, the victim was pronounced dead. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 4600 block of Garrison Boulevard.
