Eastern District Homicide Investigation

On March 16, 2024, at approximately 6:49 p.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of North Potomac Street in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.

Once there, a 21-year-old male victim was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officers began administering life-saving procedures. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for further treatment where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
