Southwest District Shooting Investigation
On May 26, 2023, at approximately 7:13 p.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Old Frederick Road to investigate a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 27-year-old female suffering from a graze wound to her head. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Southwest District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Central District Shooting Investigation
On May 26, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers were patrolling at the intersection of North Eutaw Street and West Saratoga Street when they heard discharging from the surrounding area.
Officers then observed citizens running in the 200 block of North Eutaw Street and began investigating the discharging. As officers continued to canvass the area, they located four victims suffering from gunshot wounds and, moments later, were notified that another victim, the fifth victim, walked into an area hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. The victims’ ages are as follows: 55, 58, 41, 63, and 38-years-old.
Preliminary investigation revealed that one of the victims had a verbal altercation with an unknown individual when the unknown individual brandished a firearm and shot the victim. The suspect continued firing several rounds, at the victim, striking four additional victims.
Four victims were transported by medics to area hospitals for treatment of their injuries. All of the victims’ injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Central District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Northwest District Shooting Investigation
On May 26, 2023, at approximately 5:15 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from an apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while in the 3100 block of Oakley Avenue.
