Northeast District Shooting Investigation 

On October 5, 2024, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Northeast District officers were on patrol when they heard discharging near the intersection of Hillen Road and Cold Spring Lane. 

A 21-year-old male flagged down officers and informed them that he was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. 

Preliminary information revealed that the victim was walking in the 1600 block E. Cold Sprintg Lane when he heard gunshots and began to ran. 

Northeast District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On October 5, 2024, at approximately 10:54 a.m., Northern District responded to the 3800 block of Old York Road for a reported shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers located a 48-year-old male victim and a 19-year-old female victim who were both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to their bodies. Both victims were transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition. 

A dog was found to be injured during the shooting.

Central District Shooting Investigation

On October 5, 2024, at approximately 1:58 a.m., Central District patrol officers were in the area of South Broadway when they heard discharging of a firearm coming from the 600 block of South Broadway.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old female victim and a 16-year-old male victim who were both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to their legs. Both victims were transported to an area hospital listed in stable condition. 

Officers have taken a person of interest into custody, and a firearm was recovered.
