Southern District Shooting Investigation

On September 12, 2024, at approximately 3:05 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 600 & 700 block of Light Street, for a report of discharging.

Once there, officers located a 42-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment.
