Central District Homicide Investigation
On September 14, 2023, at approximately 11:39 p.m., Central District officers were on patrol when they heard discharging in the 400 block of W. Saratoga Street.
Officers canvassed the area and located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds.
Medics transported the victims to an area hospital, where one of the adult male victims, a 35-year-old, was pronounced deceased. The other victim, a 26-year-old male, is listed in stable condition.
Homicide investigators were summoned and assumed control over the investigation.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation
On September 14, 2023, at approximately 1:18 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Once there, officers located a 32-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim is currently listed in stable condition.
Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 500 block of South Catherine Street, by an unidentified suspect.

Southwest District Shooting Investigation
On September 14, 2023, at approximately 12:36 a.m., a Southwest District officer was on routine patrol when he was flagged down by an adult female, stating she had been shot.
Medics responded to the scene and transported the victim, a 27-year-old female, to an area hospital where her injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Investigators learned that the victim was driving in the area of Payson and Lexington Street, when she heard gunfire and realized she had been hit.
