Media Advisory Update: Southeast District Homicide Investigation

Update: 17-year-old male victim died as a result of his injuries on Oct. 12.

On Oct. 8, 2024, at approximately 2:15 a.m., a Southeast District patrol officer was flagged down by a citizen while in the 3100 block of Boston Street, advising he was shot.

Medics responded to that location and transported the 31-year-old male victim to an area hospital for treatment.

At approximately 2:22 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of South Haven Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located an unidentified male suffering from apparent life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Baltimore City Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Oct. 12. The 31-year-old male suffered from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and has been listed in stable condition. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that both males were shot while in the 1200 block of South Haven Street.
