Northeast District Homicide Arrest

In reference to a double homicide that occurred in the Northeast District on February 7, 2024, investigators have arrested 21-year-old Daquan Woodard of Baltimore.

Investigators learned that Woodard fatally shot and killed 40-year-old Odell Curtis and 32-year-old Ricardo Brooks-Watters, while in the 4400 block of  Belair Road, following a dispute.

On May 1, 2024, detectives arrested Daquan Woodard and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with murder in the first degree.

Northeast District Homicide Investigation

On Feb. 7, 2024, at approximately 9:48 p.m., officers responded to the 4400 block of Bel Air Road to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 32-year-old male and a 40-year-old male suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported both victims to an area hospital, where, despite life-saving measures, both victims were pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
