On February 12, 2023, at approximately 5:49 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers were called to a home in the 3800 block of Belair Road, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 14-year-old female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was in the home, with two unidentified juveniles, playing with the gun when the victim was accidentally shot. The two unidentified juveniles fled the location.

On February 12, 2023, at approximately 1:39 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 1000 block of Quantril Way, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 24-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigation reveals that the victim was approached by a group of unidentified juveniles that shot the victim during the course of an attempted robbery.
