On February 7, 2023, at approximately 7:25 p.m., Northeast District officers responded to the 3900 block of Ridgecroft Road for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an unknown male who was lying in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported, by medics, to Johns Hopkins at Bayview where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect, a 24-year-old male, was still at the location. He was taken into custody without incident and is now being questioned by detectives.
