Northern District Attempted Murder Arrest

In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Northern District on December 14, 2023, detectives have arrested a 17-year-old male suspect.
 
Investigators believe the 17-year-old male suspect shot the 16-year-old male victim while in the 4100 block of Edgehill Avenue.

On February 21, 2024, Warrant Apprehension detectives transported the 17-year-old male to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder.

Northern District Shooting Investigation

On Dec. 14, 2023, at approximately 2:11 p.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of Edgehill Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 16-year-old male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he will receive treatment for his injuries.

Northern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2455.
