On January 4, 2023, at approximately 6:34 p.m., officers responded to the 4900 block of Liberty Heights Avenue for a shooting.

 Upon arrival, officers located at 24-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen.

 The victim has been transported to an area hospital and is in serious condition. 

Northwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and have yet to identify a suspect nor determine a motive.
