On Thursday, December 29, 2022, at approximately 1:54 p.m., 25-year-old Clarence Adkins 4th pulled up to The Dollar Plus Store located at 2004 W. Pratt Street, parked his vehicle, and entered the store.

Once in the store, Clarence Adkins made a purchase and began to argue with two unknown males. 

The argument continued outside of the store when one of the males (pictured) produced a handgun and proceeded to shoot Clarence Adkins multiple times.  Adkins was transported to Shock Trauma where he died a short time later.

Homicide detectives have acquired photos of the shooter and are looking to identify him.
