Southeast District Homicide Arrests

On April 30, 2023, at approximately 6:20 p.m., 23-year-old Fabian Sanchez Gonzalez was shot while he was working at the T-Mobile store, located in the 2500 block of Boston Street.  Gonzalez was shot as a result of a robbery gone bad.

Fabian Gonzalez was transported Johns Hopkins at Bayview where despite doctors efforts, he died two days later.

Southeast district shooting detectives would quickly identify two suspects and soon after, turn the investigation over to homicide detectives.

Homicide detectives obtained an arrest warrant, charging at least one suspect with 1st Degree Murder.

On May 4, 2023, at approximately 12:15 p.m., members of the Warrant Task Force arrested 18-year-old Arthur McCaden and his 14-year-old brother in the 5200 block St. Charles Avenue, without incident. 

McCaden and his brother were transported to the Homicide Section at Police Headquarters, and then to Central Booking where they are being booked and charged.
