Southern District Attempted Murder Arrest

On June 22, 2023, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Warrant Apprehension Task Force and Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force members arrested 28-year-old Deon Hudson of Baltimore in the 6400 block of Baltimore National Pike in Baltimore County.

Detectives believe that Hudson shot a 33-year-old male on May 28, 2023, in the 200 block of South Monroe Street.

Deon Hudson was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with Attempted 1st Degree Murder and various handgun violations.

Southern District Shooting Investigation

On May 28, 2023, at approximately 6:35 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1100 block of Dover Street, for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 33–year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Investigators believe the shooting occurred in the 200 block of South Monroe Street, where a crime scene was located.
