Southern District Attempted Murder Arrest

On March 19, 2024, detectives served an arrest warrant for attempted 1st-degree murder on 32-year-old Shairor Whitaker of Baltimore.

Detectives believe that Whitaker shot a 48-year-old female victim while in the 800 block of Bethune Road on March 3, 2024.

Detectives transported Whitaker to the Central Booking Intake Facility.

Southern District Shooting Investigation 

On March 3, 2024, at approximately 4:38 a.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to an area hospital for a report of a shooting victim.

Officers responded to the hospital and observed a 48-year-old female being treated by medical personnel, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. 

The victim informed officers that she was shot while in the 800 block of Bethune Road.
