Southwest District Homicide Investigation

On Aug. 15, 2024, at approximately 3:31 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to the Unit block of South Gilmore Street to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by a medic.
