On January 18, 2023, at approximately 1:35 p.m., officers responded to the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue in response to reports of a cutting.

When officers arrived at the location, they discovered an unidentified adult male with cuts to the chest. The victim was transported to Shock Trauma and was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Homicide detectives were notified and assumed control of the investigation.
