Western District Homicide Investigation

On May 15, 2023, at approximately 12:48 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 1600 block of Ruxton Avenue, for a report of a cutting.
Once there, officers located a 29-year-old male and a 28-year-old female, suffering from apparent stab wounds to the body.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals where the male victim died from his injuries. The female victim is expected to survive.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the 29-year-old male victim was involved in a physical altercation with an unidentified male suspect, who produced a sharp weapon and stabbed both victims multiple times.
