On Aug. 15, 2024, at approximately 3:31 p.m., Southwest District officers responded to the Unit block of South Gilmore Street to investigate a reported shooting.

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southern District on Aug. 1, 2024, investigators have arrested 28-year-old Paul Artis of Baltimore.

On Aug. 11, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
