On Jan. 8, 2024, at approximately 6:30 p.m., members of Foxtrot were observing a vehicle with stolen tags traveling through the Western District.

On Jan. 1, 2024, at approximately 1:22 a.m., officers were patrolling near the 400 Block of East Baltimore Street when they heard the discharging of a firearm coming from a parking garage in the Unit block of Guilford Avenue.

In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southwest District on Dec. 30, 2023, investigators have arrested 22-year-old Jerrod Smith of Baltimore.

On Jan. 7, 2023, at approximately 12:57 p.m., Northwest patrol officers responded to the 3800 block of Penhurst Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

On Jan. 5, 2024, at approximately 3:28 p.m., officers responded to the 5400 block of Sagra Road to investigate a call for a shooting.
