In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southeast District, that occurred on September 23, 2023, investigators have arrested 38-year-old Jamel McClurkin of Baltimore.

 On October 2, 2023, at approximately 8:46 p.m., Eastern District officers responded to the 2200 Block of Guilford Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Detective David Jones has worked with the Baltimore Police Department for more than 40 years.

On October 1, 2023, at approximately 8:56 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Patapsco Avenue to investigate a person lying in the street.

Regarding the Sept. 29, 2023, homicide that occurred in the 1100 block of South Charles Street, 40-year-old Jewel Crowder, of Baltimore, has been arrested.
